Unbelievably, after the consternation going on about this particular 'interest' can cause tonight.0 -

Started posting stuff inappropriately (maybe as part of an obsession that couldn't be controlled) but I'm not aware of the context in HC's case and I wish to avoid a similar thing. Don't know if it started going into abuse, I don't go down that road. :eek:I might get into trouble for discussing previous posters.
Sometimes the boundaries can be difficult for us to determine. I think about these things way way more than people normally do I suspect and no-one normally would ever appreciate what a struggle it can be to work things out sometimes. :rotfl:I'm told by one person not to do something, then I don't it but do something else instead and then get into trouble from a second person for doing that! I'm always, feeling I'm always, trying to tightrope about what people think is acceptable and then finding so many conflicting views! Mostly, it doesn't matter - and most people just get on with life and don't think about it, and just do whatever they do.
I believe so. You know I am always willing to discuss things by PM, but some things we just cant discuss on an open forum. IM not saying I agree with that, its just the way it is.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

:rotfl::rotfl:It's a normal word in my vocabulary.
There is a substantive point that has come out of tonight though - it is that that particular racial word is not blocked by the filter and that that, I feel, should be corrected. I might see what I can do - might contact the forum team to get the filter improved.
And for anyone interested:eek:: no, I won't quote the actual word if/when contacting the FT.0 -

I think in a pm to the forum team, it would be okay to say the word, as I agree, it is something they need to look at, but it would also stop me, if it was banned, from talking about a very nice fern plant.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I thought you were FC giving me 'advice' there (not that I need advice from anyone:rotfl:- I think I pretty much know the boundaries already - or do I?).
As regards some things not being able to discuss, I don't know whether you feel my continued discussion tonight is itself one of these things? It seems the "things we can't discuss" is more or less being enforced by yourself, as you are the one that asked me to delete etc., so it appears (on one level) to be "just the way it is" because of yourself saying so, yet you don't agree with it?!?:rotfl:
The next bit isn't meant as bluntly as it may come across: You're the one that seems be deciding we can't discuss certain things because we can't discuss them. A circular argument.0 -

I only used them once each, I haven't been reprinting them loads and reusing them as imho that would just be really stupid, wouldn't exactly be hard to work out who was doing it. T's may not be the brightest at times, but in reality how many people are going to be using them in T's, not that many up here anyways and I don't fancy getting banned from stores or anything worse,
No they didn't ask for the accompanying A's receipt. It was scanned and after a bit of a conflab over the T&C's they were accepted as they should have been.
I'm almost wishing I hadn't posted about it now and just let the other few lucky ones who have it locally discover it for themselves. I hoped it was going to be a nationwide thing when I seen it and just wanted to try and give a little something back to the thread that has given me so much the last few years.
Wise the bap! Get in there and use them. I loved it when they took them here in NI, it was great. We called it double dipping.....using them in As then using them again in Ts. All within the sketchy t&c. Good luck.....I'm wel jel!!0 -

Your correct, I dont agree with it, but in the things we do, we have boundaries, I am not trying to enforce them, I am just trying to guide, as sometimes different people have different boundaries.
Edit: I fell that so long as there is no malice there, people should be able to discuss what they want, but unfortunately, it isnt like that.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Oh. (Surprised.) I think the point is whether it would get through an email filter, if I decided to contact them via email.
Or maybe I've missed the point again, always that possibility:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.0
