  • why use 5 off 10 when you can use unlimited apg's in tesco?? free vs 5 off 10 is a no brainer...for most.

Maybe you should read back and read the clear T&C's which have been posted numerous times. Then you'll see what the no brainer is ;)

You have to be extra careful with RTC bread at the moment as even in date bread is going mouldy in this hot and humid weather - we are checking every slice (and down the loaf) having eaten some only to discover blue mould on the next slice

DH bought it full price :eek::eek:, it was still in it's BBD the mould was incredible, it was the size of a penny urgh

Savvy, I think [1] in the context of this forum it is not appropriate to test these observations - [2] there is no need for swearing or other offensive terms on a public forum about saving money, whether blocked by the filter or not. It can only ever end badly (either spoiling the mood, offending people or getting the thread or accounts closed down).

Just an observation, now back to glitching and offers.

    [1] :rotfl:That itself interests me. Sorry:o.

[2] So two of my posts - 9855 and 9893 - are already in breach. As well as one by aau1 and one by pd, as well one earlier on today from someone else. If so, we'd better define "swearing" and "offensive term" as, if we enquired we'd find everyone had different views as to what consitutes either of these things. In addition, the previous post, now deleted, did not use either swearing - as it was a racist word and not swearing. And neither was it an "offensive term" in that context as it was a discussion. (Of course, I expect this to provoke fury:mad::mad::mad::rotfl::rotfl: - contain yourself folks!)

As regards it not being "appropriate", there may be things that some people think are "inappropriate", but that does not mean they are unacceptable or wrong.

If there's no need for it, then there's no need for landlines either - we could just have mobile phones! There's no need to lock your door, you could have someone standing guard outside instead. So why are locked doors necessary? And why are they not subject to a similar discussion about whether they are "needed" or not?

There's no need for the internet - we could go back to reading books borrowed from libraries or buying newspapers. So, ban the Internet! It's "unnecessary"!

    Anyway...moving on folks.;)

I feel the need to point out that yes I did use my APG's in T's today, purely because my local stores are part of the trial. I only used them once each, I haven't been reprinting them loads and reusing them as imho that would just be really stupid, wouldn't exactly be hard to work out who was doing it. T's may not be the brightest at times, but in reality how many people are going to be using them in T's, not that many up here anyways and I don't fancy getting banned from stores or anything worse,
No they didn't ask for the accompanying A's receipt. It was scanned and after a bit of a conflab over the T&C's they were accepted as they should have been.

I'm almost wishing I hadn't posted about it now and just let the other few lucky ones who have it locally discover it for themselves. I hoped it was going to be a nationwide thing when I seen it and just wanted to try and give a little something back to the thread that has given me so much the last few years.

    :o

I for one am so glad you posted. I very rarely do a shop of anywhere near £40 but, thanks to your info, I've just fished 4 x £5 off £40 vouchers - which came in a freebie Morribobs leaflet the other day - out of the bin . Hopefully I can combine with some wombled APGs and my £5 Orchard voucher and my friend can use the others. So a sincere thank you from me! :):)
