I look at it as saving the school from buying the medals :rotfl:

Just had ds1 do sats and we went just after;)

My son went to chessington with the school and we had to pay but we have Merlin passes:eek::eek:
He took his cup and had free drinks all day:cool:

I'm all for rewarding good behaviour etc but most kids would rather have a day off school or a fun day or something. I think it's really unfair for people who are struggling or who have more than one child to shell out for.
I found out how much each child with a statement is worth to school in my battles with the local authority. It's ALOT of money. One of DS2 trips was for those with special needs and I'm sure could have been funded from the fortune they get from those funds. DS2 statement alone nets his school nearly £15k a year

    Evening all

Sorry I am 36 hours behind but hopè everyone is well and surviving the heat.

Just called in to say (especially to Emmap as she was asking about spas), I have just returned from a visit to the Spa at the new Woburn Forest Centre Park.
I must say it was the best spa I have used by far. The centre park site looked pretty good too and we had breakfast and lunch sitting outside looking at the activity going on through the trees. 15 different sensory rooms plus outside infinity pool which we think had more sunbeds than visitors. It felt so indulgent sitting by an outside pool in the uk.
Fab start to dds 30th birthday celebrations. The big day is thursday and it feels like yesterday:)

3 x The Happy Egg Co. Free Range Medium Eggs (6) £3.75 £5.25

I was wondering why you bought 3 boxes of medium eggs nerfdad, when they are 2 for £2 for both the medium or large in Asda?

They are going on offer in Tesco too, 2 for £2 from tomorrow. So if these are your egg of choice, buy A v T (after msm catches up with T's offer).

Works out at £1.80 (after 20p APG) for 12 large eggs.

Sounds lovely :D Stilton freezes lovely, still got about 2 1/2 of the baby stiltons I got for £1.25 each in Ts a while back in the freezer :D

This stilton portion came with a little bottle of port for 50p. :D

I just didn't have room to freeze any cheese this year with losing the space of my mum's freezer. :o

Obviously - I am thinking that if you take some prints off everyone can take home some photos

I use photos almost like family glue. When I used to go and see my dad I always had the Ipad and we went through all the photos of the kids, garden, cats etc My gang are all very scattered, not enough time in the day for prolonged calls so everyday I take photos of anything and everything - things we have cooked, the garden, the cats etc and share them - keeps us all in contact :D
awww, that sounds so nice :)
