I did manage to convince him to go sockless today though. He loving his crocs at the moment. Crocs and socks  :rotfl::rotfl:
We were going out in public and I gave him a choice. Crocs OR socks. Not both!
We reached a compromiseI like that you're looking out for him FC. Crocs and socks. Can you IMAGINE?fairclaire wrote: »Oh EMMAP you have no ideait's hard enough to get him in shorts as it is. He refuses to wear those short trainer socks and whatever socks he does wear, he pulls them up as far as he can to compensate for the lack of trouser legs
:rotfl::rotfl:
He looks like a miniature tourist:rotfl::rotfl:
Bless him :A
DS always wants to wear socks with his crocs
It's so embarrassing, I need to get him some trainer socks ASAP at the very least
It's so hot now and he is wearing socks IN BED  I tried to take them off once he had fallen asleep but he stirred  so I gave it up
He thinks 'the monster' will get his feet if he hasn't got socks on, nothing I say will allay his fears0 -

So...took the opportunity to read by torchlight, a book I've had for ages but never go round to reading, Primo Levi's If This Is A Man. I'm only 42 pages in and I've got the tissues on the go already
 What kind of book is it?'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
I would use it but then I am probably not the best person to ask as nearly everything I eat is out of date.
We often use old stock/fat from all sorts at least a week after, fat we have used several weeks after. :money:
We took cheese dated 5th January to the festival and it had never been frozen, we couldn't store it in a fridge while there, and me and Mr Tinyshoes are both still here to tell the tale. We did keep it in a tin that was sat in a bowl with half inch of water and cloth drapped over. Something to do with the evaporation effect.
Actually I had forgotten he did ask if we held the record for eating the most out of date cheese. :rotfl:But think Enterprise may have a chance too.No cheating on entries for this, no freezing allowed.
How very out of character :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Why is DM asking you to rub port into him? My mind boggles  :rotfl::rotfl:
I have no idea, he must have had too much fizz. :rotfl:
I really am not here, bed for me soon this week is going to be over and I won't have everything done for the weekend.
Off to Newcastle (the one near Stoke) tomorrow to bring back as much as I can of DD2's stuff, she won't fit it all in her little car. I'm debating early start.
It's our 25th anniversary party at the weekend. And we are doing our own catering.
I think it's going to be a stressful few days. :eek:0 -
