Just back from T's where I got a lovely £20.70 DTD on a £20.69 smoked gammon joint.
SEL said Half Price £7.99 p/kilo to £3.99 p/k no half price sticker on the joint scanned at full price. CS checked shelf and sel told me it was valid til 5/8 and refunded dtd with no prompting :D

    barcode ends ends 0694
sel says between 1.5 k and 3.5k joints mine was 2.5ish

Next time you are in have a look and you'll see all the packs have diferent barcodes

Meat that is priced/kg but sold in varying pack sizes has the price included in the barcode. (So yours would have contained 2069)

If they all had the same barcode then the only way the tills would know what to charge you would be to weigh the product

Had a reasonably good day today. Not managed to find a pressie for my friend yet, but in my trek around town I found a cover with a built in light for my Kobo Touch for £2.50 in WH Smith's (originally supposed to be £24.95 :eek:). Got it incase my DTD one gets damaged. Smith's have 75% off a lot of the Kobo accessories at the moment.

Then this afternoon was watching the Red Arrows from the back garden. Beautiful day for it, and they come literally right over the back garden, first time they did it someone had moved my camera and they came over in a perfect diamond formation, could have got a lovely shot of the underside of the formation.

Dont know what to say about t's apart from:eek::eek::eek:

Thank you Bubbs & Fairclaire , the locum we saw got her into hosp next day, we were going to have to wait until November for Neuro appt

Also one point I was unaware of until a couple of weeks ago. T's DTD policy doesn't apply to self scanned shops, may be old news but I'd never had a problem before.

Hi willow. Sorry to hear about your dd. I'm not surprised your stressed. As for T's, i really dislike the place. Other supermarkets are far friendlier places. I won't go unless there's a good glitch or I have really good coupons xx

Thank you cjj , sure she'll be ok, just not nice seeing her going through it & not being able to take it all away. She's finding it really hard not being able to drive her little car, only been driving for 10 months :(

T's said they had notified all my local stores, feel like a criminal :(

Well done you FC for getting to the eye clinic:j:j

Spotted some decent reductions in A today.

    Comfort lavender bloom 21 wash. 750ml £1

Napolina light and mild....this is nice for salad dressings 250ml £1.13
Filliipe Berio extra virgin olive oil. 250 ml £1

All Showing full price on a.com
Unfortunately none compare well for a CC..desperate for olive oil so may just go for an order regardless .....easy to make up to £25

Can someone advise please if flash is still working. I've found an A with some on the shelves:D

I thought that too aau1, they said it was if you self scan then pay what you know to be too much then you are overcharging yourself!!!! ...and it's up to the CUSTOMER to ask SA to input correct price.
I asked where this was displayed in store & they said I should look online. I argued that if the EPOS staff did their jobs efficiently then there wouldn't be price errors for customers to 'take advantage' of. Again another reason I probably got banned. I plan on doing my research & taking it further.
