The wind in the night was really strong, and got up to no internet again so I'm on my iPad, can't do without me internet. Best of if is I got 3 days holiday from work and today planned to be my lazy internet day  wouldn't u just guess it, bl00dy internet :rotfl:

    Morning all

Hope everyone is safe and sound after the storm. Guess who slept through:D DH says he was awake between 2:30 and 4:30 and it was raging. Looking after DGS2 today who is keeping me busy but hope to get out and increase biscuit stock later;)

    Morning,

I thought it was so sweet that when I took my little one to his pre school this morning, they said his new school which he starts in september had sent him a school jumper, free of charge :) How lovely was that :T

That was a lovely surprise lucky lad.

Anyway just going to have a good catch up and hope everyone has a good day.

That is good! School uniform is soooo expensive, well the 'branded' stuff is anyway. I'd say to anyone with little ones starting school. Don't buy lots of the branded stuff.....they grow out of it too quickly. 2 of anything is enough. 1 to wear whilst the other is being washed. And if they wear plain shirts/trouser/skirts, the cheap stuff that As and Ts sells is really good. Ts 75p polo shirts (if they still do them?) were fab, they washed well and lasted a whole year and were cheap enough to buy 5, a clean one for every day.

We had the rain in the night and a thunderstorm, so I have been told, not that any of us heard it.

We have had about 3 spots of rain this morning, the sky was black and we had a clap of thunder, so didnt bother putting all my bedding out on the line, but the sky is bright blue now, so have just put it out, hope the rain keeps away from us today.
