I have been lucky. I have a law degree, and a masters degree in law and hopefully if we are all here in 2 years I will have a PhD and be a doctor of law
Sounds like you are enjoying it then, good luck with it all.Thank you to everyone who posted ideas for what to do with DDs hair for the prom.
I haven't got any pics of her hairbut after trying everything that was suggested, her hair was too short for a few styles.
She ended up with top half in French plaits down the sides that I pined together at the back and added some little diamond hair spins. She was very chuffed with it and it stayed in perfectly.
Girls showed up to the prom in dresses and a few tiaras etc, boys turned up in shirts, jeans, t-shirts and one was in a footie kit :rotfl:
My son tried to go to his prom yesterday in his football kit, he is only 11, but i made him put smart clothes on. How they all enjoyed it and looked fab.
Sorry morning all, early morning for me, too hot to sleep.0 -
Good morning. Friday at last. Have a wonderful day.0

Morning gorgeous people, we are still an island in the middle of the pig muck smell.
last night OH insisted on opening the front window in the living room as apparently the smell won't go around the front of the house
- it did.
We had 8 tea lights burning
the carpet and curtains were given a good dose of Febreeze
We went to bed. OH had put the ceiling fan on. I gave everything a good spray of Lynx deo and soft and gentle orchid. It was stinking.
Then Oh said shut the window then - he had opened the window before putting the black out curtains down  then turned the fan on to suck the smell in for good measure.
He can't smell it - what is wrong with men.
I went back down to sleep with the cats, it was bliss, much cooler downstairs - one cat on each sofa and one in a cardboard box, no one snored or moved all night - very civilised, best sleep in ages - I always seem to wake at 4.44“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I opened a jar of cherries the other night and I've got about half left, what can I do with them?
Will the cherries freeze - I am thinking of smoothies.
Or if I topped the jar up with alchol - do I take the water out first? I think I have some brandy or some little bottles of port
Or do I put them in a box with some alchol and freeze them - I am thinking of Christmas trifles.
Any suggestions?
I've got no one to make cake for and OH suffers my dessert concoctions with a derisory Very Nice dear“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Spec. K B'cuit Moments - I can only see the mbuy on the Chocolate version, not on the others: are they on 2 for £3? If so, maybe two of the non-mbuy vs M at 99p. Approx. 43p each if works.
Also the Spec. K Bars - I can only see the Peach version with 2 for £3, others have straight £1.99. Maybe one peach and one of the others, £1.99 each (but really 2 for £3?) vs T at £1.00 each, or two of them both absent any mbuy online vs T, or maybe M. If indeed they turn out to be on 2 for £3 instore.
I realise that posting this will be the end of this glitch if there is one...
Good Morning All,
I noticed the moments in my sada a few days ago. I got them checked and as silly as it my seem the chocolate ones are the only ones in 2 for £3.
I am pretty sure the special k was also only select ones but I can't completely trust my carp memory.RISEABOVEHATE

I honestly think it was the most awful thing I'd ever seen at that point in my life. Days and days of truly awful pictures in the papers
It's different now, news is almost instant.....speculation is almost non-existent. Don't know what's worse to be honest
I was 14 when Lockerbie happened. Was bizarre cause bad things never really happened in Scotland. We off the grid where things like that concerned and if its been tried since like at Glasgow airport that time. they meet a different kind of scot, the type that refuses to let folk be hurt.
But no boy is stopping a missile. (Well except maybe in castle milk/ easterhoose)
No laughing matter though. Its dreadful .
Well done on job FC xx0 -

I always knew you had it in you.,
Ive had a bittersweet night. I had a pain in my eye earlier....when I try and look up..,down...left right, it hurts.
I'm already waiting to get pressure tests done at hospital, but that's a month awaymy eye really did hurt tonight. I think I knight phone the doc in the morning? or maybe lll have more joy with the optician?
No need to answer, I'm thinking out loud
Hi FC, from experience I'd say you've three ways you could approach this:
Phone the eye clinic, the number should be on your appointment letter. Tell them about your new symptoms and see if you can be seen sooner. IME the receptionists are experienced enough to ask a nurse or Dr to speak to you rather than just fob you off.
If that doesn't work, I'd go to your GP and ask for an emergency referral to the eye clinic. When I had my first symptoms of my eye troubles I went to the GP in the morning and was given an appt at the hospital for the afternoon. It might be that you'd have to turn up and wait for a space between appointments but hopefully you'd be seen sooner and start any treatment sooner too.
If you can't get a GP appt today go to your opticians and get them to retest your IOP. If it's gone up then they should be able to phone the clinic and have you seen sooner.
Good luck. Our eyes are so precious and it's hard waiting to be seen when you're sure something is wrong.
It's only a game
