    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:but did you find it?

    Yes, I would still be out there if I hadn't :eek:
    OH has umpteen smelly jackets and stuff in his shed for fishing. It was stuffed down the sleeve of one.

    The thing is, when we were looking in places, he was getting really narky at us and saying 'why are you looking in there, I wouldn't hide it there' he was in a proper state!

    Notice how A now avoids having to compare to Morries at 99p by changing to Carrot Batons from its previous Sliced Carrots. M is Sliced Carrots & Peas.

    There we are - that's enough cause for dissatisfaction!

    (In addition to the fact that fresh veg. salad-type packs are always rip-off IMO as they don't give much for how much they cost. Price per 100g is quite expensive.)

    Those carrots are a case in point - if you bought loose carrots they would be much cheaper per kg. But there you get 400g for £1:eek: (includes peas). Making a bad point - as includes peas in that - but there are packs of 500g carrots that cost 50p. In other words £1:eek::eek: per kg.

    Btw, apart from fact that Carrots are still being used from Sun vouchers much much cheaper, I think Waities is best priced at the moment on carrots isn't it? 3 for 2 on 1kg carrots? Works out about 46p/kg. Compared to the 'rip-off' smaller packs. (Though, again, getting you to buy 3 packs in order to make that 'saving' - another part of the big game on the part of the stores.)

    You will have to start a veg garden savvy.The taste is a thousand times better than anything you buy in the shops.

    Grrr, no internet so having to tether to DH's phone to catch up. I'd planned to buy beef tomorrow, so looks like I'll have to rethink next weeks meals.
