Should really be keeping regular restore points. Your computer most likely does this automatically for you. (On XP): If you click on START at the bottom left of your screen and then click ALL PROGRAMS you should be able to see System Restore near the top of the list. If not you can do a search for it. When you open it up it should have quite a few restore points saved. If something messes up your computer then you can go to the restore point which was saved just before your computer was messed up. Ths should correct the problem you are having now.

I guess really you should have someone with you who knows what to do and who can guide you through the process.

I have an apple mac, which I bought when OH said I could not have one… no one knows how to use it (DS2 refuses to even consider it on strange moral grounds). It took my 4 months to get a password in.. and I only managed this when I forced someone to show me how to do it before I ended a meeting!

There is no start button, but I went to sarafi and clicked the restore bits, but it did not work

You know that thing? is it called Karma?

    You reap what you sow?

    thingy

Well it's happening at last to someone I know in RL, who deserves it - all by it's self

    :T:T:T

Think I may try and win the lottery tomorrow (someone has to - eventually). I may only be 22 but I feel I am due a fair bit of decent Karma :)

    Early start for me.

To be honest zip I can't remember........didn't this surface a while ago?

I seem to think I was looking around at Christmas time.

Will stick details in my little black book and have another look for them:)
