No wonder they don't bother supplying spares any more, they must assume the general car buying public are mugs.
Best of luck trying to sell a used car with no spare, i for one will walk away.
I wouldn't. I've bought four full sets of wheels and tyres off ebay for about £20 a set over the years, solely to put winter tyres on. But come back with a lot of good summer tyres in there as well, that have been re-used.0 -

Maybe because asking why doesn't go any way to answering the OP's question and as they have already agreed the purchase, it's too late for them to go back and ask for a free of charge spare.0 -

If at all possible, buy a spare even if it is one of the spacesaver ones.
Tyre sealant works in some instances, but if there is a split in the tyre or the wheel is damaged due to something like hitting a pothole, then only a spare will get you home or to a garage.
A spacesaver wheel isn't too expensive nor will it take up much space in your boot, and there may well already be a place for it to be stowed.
I repaired a gash in the shoulder with a can of tyreweld, it worked well enough.0 -

I did bring it up, but they weren't budging on it. To be fair I'd squeezed them to pretty close to the absolute cheapest quote I could get online and I didn't want to take the proverbial.0 -
If it doesnt come with a spare as standard then I would expect it to come with the gunk and pump, certainly mine did. The only time you'd need to buy is if you decided you wanted to replace that with a spare in which case youll need the wheel, jack and wrench. Just make sure you have somewhere to put them0
