Hudl

Hi not sure this is the right place to ask sorry but it is about internet connection.

Recently purchased a HUDL with Tesco ClubCard boost vouchers as we wanted a cheap tablet to take away on a family holiday in a couple of weeks.

My question is how do I connect to the internet outside my home if the tablet doesn't have a USB port slot (we can't see one on the device) to attatch a dongle to?

Can anyone help please? Thanks in advance. :)

The Hudl has micro USB, but most USB dongles will fail to work natively.
Either tether it to a mobile phone, or buy something like a Mi-Fi dongle.

Right the Hudl is a wifi device in that it connects to the internet via a wireless network connection.

There are a couple of methods of connecting whilst on holiday.

    1. Find a bar, cafe or hotel with wifi. These can quite often be free but not always.

    2. If you want to use the internet whilst in the car/train/bus you'll need a connection to the mobile phone networks. This can either be done with a mifi device or you can turn a phone into a wifi hotspot provided your contract allows this.

Hope that helps and isn't too technical :)

Also if the holiday is outside the UK wifi in hotels/bars/cafes are the only really sensible option due to the cost of roaming on a mobile network.
