Personal Injury mange myself or use a firm

Don't try and manage it yourself as you won't know what your injury is worth and may well accept less than you should - go to a no win no fee firm of solicitors. If looking online or something, check that the firm you are going with are actually solicitors - there is no point in going via a claims management company. All they do is pass you on to a solicitor's firm.2018 wins: Aspinal of London jewellery box, Boudavida gym outfit, HP Pavilion laptop, The List party tickets, All Points East festival tickets, Kiehls moisturiser, By Terry cc serum, Nars Liquid Bronzer, Benefit highlighter, Nars illuminator, Fresh advanced lip trio set, Cetaphil sample set, signed copy of My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent0

Hi,
simple question really. I have been in a car crash and the 3rd party has caused alot of damage to both our cars. 2 of his passengers and I am injured.
there is no issue over liability and I am considering the options of making a personal injury claim myself rather than using a "specialist" firm.
I was wondering of by reducing the extortionate costs these firms generate it would offset the total claim cost and may even see me better off.
Any one have experience of doing so and how did it go?
Contact the 3rd party insurer and see what they are prepared to offer.Mr Straw described whiplash as "not so much an injury, more a profitable invention of the human imagination—undiagnosable except by third-rate doctors in the pay of the claims management companies or personal injury lawyers"0 -

If you have a bit of soft tissue damage with no lasting symptoms then why not manage it yourself?
Broken bones or long term damage probably worth getting expert guidance because they will have a book that tells them how much it is worth.Mr Straw described whiplash as "not so much an injury, more a profitable invention of the human imagination—undiagnosable except by third-rate doctors in the pay of the claims management companies or personal injury lawyers"0
