orange - need new deal - which company can I use?

Hi everyone,

I have a quick query - can anyone help?

I am with orange and need to keep my number (and like orange!). I normally deal directly through orange to upgrade but have seen some of the deals online (e2save etc). How would I go about keeping my number and going through them for a new deal?

I think you have to transfer your existing number to another network's payg and then transfer it back to your new Orange contract

As stupid as it sounds.. unless you renw/upgrade your current contract phone, which, usually you never get anywhere near close to the deals a new contract gets, you cant port your number on the same network!!!

As pointed out, you would need to port to another network, then back again, which could be time consuming!!!

I never understand why they cant do this internally!!! bonkers!!
