Either I would think, There is always Action Fraud too.

    Who says there is fraud?

Bad websites can just mean poor businesses and not automatically a scam.

The prize is a lottery and so should go to http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/gh-contact_us/complaints/complain_illegal_activity.aspx in case it doesnt have a license (I am guessing it doesnt too)

What a waste of time! Hope no-one falls for it.

As of Oct you can pay monthly anyway so their business model is a bit short term.

if anybody falls for that, they honestly deserve to be taken for every penny they have :rotfl:

A fool and their money and all that.

Registered in April, when was it announced that you could pay tax by direct debit, seems like it was set up to prey on the gullible and stupid.

Had a good few site visitors though.....

“Filled in the 6 month option, made my 6 monthly payments and tax disc was on my doorstep the month the tax was due, true to there word hassle free, thanks for a great service DDvehicleTax”

Not bad considering the website only started on March 19th. Does he have a DeLorean? :D

And it's a Wix website too.

Good spot. Apart from the dreadful English on that site, just another good reason to avoid.

I simply can't trust a business that doesn't get its website proof-read properly. If they can't be arsed to get their public face in order, what else can't they be arsed to do?

Another thing... how on earth does he buy the tax for you? Unless he's got the reminder reference or V5, he can't do it online, and without documents can't do it in the PO.

So if I've got to hand over my VED renewal notice or tell him the number every 6/12 months, where's the advantage?

    T&Cs are a joke too:

Its not a great profit for him either! Take 6 months Band E tax at payments to him of £12.92 a month. Thats just £1 extra a month more than the cost of the tax. Accepting a payment of £12.92 via paypal would see him paying paypal fees of 64p (3.4% + 20p) so only leaving him 36p profit a month! Is it really worth it?!

Not if he *actually* buys the tax.

By the time he's paid tax and NI, he'll be left with virtually nothing. He'd need every motorist in the country to use his service to make any sensible money at all, which shouldn't be a problem for him, as his service is so great.

If only there were another way to pay for your VED monthly. Something like a, I don't know, box where you save money. Or a big building with a safe. Like, erm... a bank.

Or wait till October, and do it that way with the DVLA.
