Sony Ericsson warranty on mobiles - 2 years?
Hi guys,
In the last couple of days, I have had reason to contact Sony Ericsson about a problem with my phone.
They just replied today and as part of the reply, they mentioned that all SE phones purchased after 1st September 2005 all of their phones come with a 24 month warranty...
I've not heard anything about this and wondered if anyone else had?
I hate Nokia for the very reason that all of their phones (that i've had) seem to break after 1 year and 1 day (e.g. just out of warranty) so I never buy Nokia.
But selling 2nd hand SE phones after 12 months with a years warranty still on them would be good for me and good for buyers!

EU legislation means its 24 months, technically Nokia do have 24 months (if purchased after April '05) http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4222230
But I think service centres try to weasel out of thisSLC: £13000+

SE phones do have 2yr warranties, it says it in the warranty book included in the phone's box0
