Seems Three managed to beat the competition quite comprehensively in the latest broadbandgenie nationwide test.

EE were a close second and as most people have experienced O2 and Vodafone were a pitiful 3rd and 4th.

How on Earth did they work that one out?! I was so put off 3 I had no mobile for the best part of 4 years, I gave up because I couldn't stand having to work through their customer 'service' department. It's been so much better being with O2 because they're not constantly trying to short-change me!

I think I'll be taking their ratings for everything else with a large pinch of salt.
    *coughs* CORRUPTION!

To be fair, they would really struggle to be any worse than they used to be ;)

Three improved dramatically when they signed the 3g share agreement with T Mobile. Now years later they along with EE (who inherited tmobiles 50%) have the best 3g network.

You seem to be missing the point of the test. Its mobile broadband only, not general coverage. Given the precise subject for testing i am not in the least surprised and if asked i would have guessed that exact order.

Had it been voice coverage 3 would have probably been bottom with vodafone doing much better, possibly even on the top spot.

    Errrrr what.

Three continually come top for voice coverage as well along with EE. They also have Wideband Audio as well which is a plus.

Some people think it's still 2004 and not 2014 mate.

They seem to think Three have been standing still for the last 10 years...
