Good old public transport.
I dont drive in town, its more expensive to park up and if you get caught in rush hour it takes longer to get home. And there are too many bus lanes and cameras, im the type who would end up with a fine in the post.
I think thats a bit too big. No kids yet, I woud be driving too many empty seats around in a people carrier... I suppose I could become a part time taxi driver? The more I think about it, the more im thinking a qashqai is the way to go.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I did a 500 mile trip in my Dacia Duster and found it really comfy and has a high seating position, but my car before this was a Ford KA.
Dirt cheap as well. What will your verse be?

OH has a Qashqui and I have a Mondeo - both cost about the same - we are both of the opinion the Mondeo is by far the better long distance motorway car, and always the one we choose to take on long journeys. The Qashqui doesn't have the relaxed comfort of the Mondeo and we both find the high driving position makes looking a long way ahead more uncomfortable than from the low driving position in the Mondeo. The Qashqui is much more useful around town where the high driving position helps give good visability at junctions etc, but on the motorway where you spend a lot of time looking far ahead, the low seating position of the Mondeo works much better.0

As above. We have a saloon car and an SUV. The saloon is always the car of choice for long journeys.0

I had a Peugeot 106 and a Ford KA before I got my Dacia Duster. The Duster is better and more comfortable in every possible way - long journeys, short journeys, motorways, non-motorways.
I used to have to stretch my legs after long journeys in the KA but don't anymore. Much prefer a higher driving position.
Just offering the OP different opinions! Maybe test drive some cars to get a feel for them. What will your verse be?
