Quickest & easiest MasterCard debit?

Options
I want to book some flights with Opodo and there's a £53 discount for paying with a MasterCard debit. This reduces the flights from £400 to £346 so it's worth exploring.

Which is the easiest and quickest one to apply for? I can't believe I don't have one already but I've checked them all and they're either Visa debit or credit cards.

Thanks.

Only MC debit card I've ever seen in UK was from Metro.

Almost nobody does MasterCard debit cards. Only ones I know are Yorkshire/Clydesdale Bank, Metrobank, and State Bank of India. Basically everyone else does Visa.

If you can pop into a Metrobank store, you might have your card within an hour. The other two take a small eternity to process your application.

Not sure you could use the SBI card for online purchases because it isn't embossed.

    From http://www.sbiuk.com/personal/debit-card-facilities:

"Q: Can I use my SBI UK debit Card for Online transactions?
A: Yes, you can use your State Bank of India Premier Card for online transactions ONLY after you register your card details in the Mastercard SecureCode website. Please bear in mind that along with the above, the merchant (originator of the transaction) should mandate for Mastercard Secure facility."

Danske do MC debit cards, but accounts might only be available to those residing in N Ireland.

Cashplus isn't MasterCard Debit. Even though you preload it, like all prepaid cards it swipes as MasterCard Credit. (Strange I know)

ThinkMoney costs a monthly fee. I don't think this is what the OP was looking for.

It was just to say there was this other bank account offering a Mastercard. Other posters didn't mention it.

I was wanting to get a Mastercard Debit for the same reason as the OP. I searched on the internet to see if I could find any issuers, and aside from those already mentioned I found the found were

    ghanabank

    gtbankuk

(sorry it won't let me post the links)

I've not heard of either of them so I am a little unsure about using them. I think a visit to Metro Bank when next in London might be my best option.
