However you would not be aware of this because you have not studied it!
Some people are parasympathetic dominant and need help to re-balance the nervous system which the original Herbal Aloe provided.
it re-balanced the nervous system to a more sympathetic dominated state rather than the parasympathetic dominant state with tiredness and exhaustion that many have to endure.
Just cutting a few bits from that long post which seem particularly bizarre to be honest. Do you have any scientific evidence about 'balancing the nervous system' or proof it reverses ageing?
I had some friends who sold herbalife years ago. They were very enthusiastic/evangelical about it. At the time it seemed to me that it all worked simply because you weren't eating 3 meals a day, it was shakes and bars (at great expense) and then one balanced meal.
I have to say I had no idea how much sugar was in some of those products. Good thing I never bought them!:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

x2. Show me the evidence.
The post is also quite vague - "benefits" (what exactly), "stimulating" (what exactly) etc.0 -
i was told today about someone that had lost 4 stone since January on this type of plan, not sure if it was herbal life, could have been slimfast? she has 2 replacement 'meals', shakes or soup, plus 1 meal a day.
4 stone in 6 months is quite fast though isn't it? i can manage about 7lbs a month if i'm really trying & exercising regularly.
i did try to point out that meal replacements can only ever be short term, unless she plans on doing it for the rest of her life. when she starts eating 'normally' again, i'd guess that she'll put some weight back on.
also, being so restricted on calories every day, won't her metabolism be affected? slowed down & weight gain will be worse than previously?
losing weight really isn't easy & i think anything that offers a quick or easy fix, just won't work. it's the foundation for a multi-billion pound diet industry after all!
moderation, balance & a few bits of what you fancy every now & again, & keep active. it's a lifestyle choice for me, taken me years to understand this, but i think i'm there now...0 -
Seems to work on the same principle as the special k diet, 1 bowl at breakfast and 1 for lunch then main meal as normal.....basically cutting down on daily calorie intake.
I do have a few boxes left at £50 a time, each one should last a month. Double whammy pounds off the waist and pounds left in the pocket.:rotfl:0 -
I guess you can lose the weight, but there is a huge difference between losing weight and being healthy. Fast food sandwiches all day everyday...hmmm I dunno bout that.0
