Who else would attempt to phone the local news paper in this instance, rather than dialling 999 and asking for immediate police attendance?
I phoned the police who came

Think you need to re-read the OP footyguy!

So 3 guys knock at your door at 7 o'clock in the morning and demand entry claiming they have an entry warrant, but they won't let you see it, and when you deny entry they start drilling the locks out?

Who else would attempt to phone the local news paper in this instance, rather than dialling 999 and asking for immediate police attendance?

He says that the police came, but when the bailiff explained who he was they just left.

As I asked earlier, which local rag was this allegedly reported to?

Let's see if even they bothered to run with this nonsense...

Do the following words mean anything to anyone?
MSE requests you give new posters a chance! Please be especially nice.

Maybe there are a lack of details and maybe it is all nonsense. But until such a time that is confirmed (which can be accomplished in oh so many nicer ways), there's no need to immediately assume it's BS and go on the attack.

To accuse the OP of calling the press before they called the police despite the exact opposite being reported and then try to gloss over the fact you have egg on your face???

This place beggars belief sometimes. People must get off on being rude.

I'll raise you on that with "Do the following words mean anything to anyone?"
