I don't think that it can ever be the answer.... it's just money. Yes, it's stressful to be in debt and it's not a nice feeling but ultimately it is just money0

Hello! I am new here. . . But I really just wanted to say that I have been in terrible debt myself and have been at my wits end and not known what on earth to do or where to turn. Eventually I turned to CCCS - now StepChange and they really changed everything for me. I am now debt free. It has not been easy but I managed it. And having to be open and honest about my debt was really hard. But once you take that first step, asking for help, starting to talk about it, that's a really good sign. So I'd just like to say well done for starting! And you are MOST definitely NOT alone! You really could do worse than call StepChange, they will listen to you and then they will give their recommendation for your circumstances. No obligation. But they do talk sense and they are really sympathetic. No judgements. At all. Good luck - try not to worry. Things will get better, I know it!!
