Creative ZEN Vision:M 30GB MP3

this is probably a silly question, but i'll ask anyway: the connection looks very similar to that of the iPods. I have a few accessories for my ipod, such as an iTrip etc. Would these work with it, or are they, as i would imagine, ever so slightly different fittings?! on the other hand. it would make sense for them to have made them the same, so that people could use these accessories with creative devices aswell as ipods.

They look the same connections but the wiring is different apparently do not use ipod stuff for this

Boots online sale - it says "stock coming soon" and they have the pink 30gb one for £109.99.

A good price, but both the iaudio x5 and the iriver series (h1x0 and h3x0) are better sounding than any of the creative models, including this. It's still far better sounding than an ipod though.

I've had one since last November - Brilliant. Worth every penny!

Only had one problem, since my computer crashed, it won't recognise the software any more, so I have to use Windows Media 11, which is rubbish.
WM 11 keeps duplicating my songs on there. For example, if a song is on there with the singer as 'The Mission UK', it may also put it on there as 'The Mission'.
Its also painfully slow to load this way. Make sure the software works and you'll be happy.
The battery will hold a charge for over a week with little playing, and will show at least 2 movies back to back before needing charging.

These are falling in price because the next-generation of Zen is due out around Christmas time. They're still very good, but i'm holding my horses until the new and improved ones are out

Aw, what?!

I just bought a Zen. There's a new one coming out then? Same with iPods. Heard there's a new one on the way in the Autumn.

Did you pay £169 on Amazon aswell as if you did you can email them as it's less than 30 days and they will knock the tenner off for you and credit your card back:)
