Don't use parcel2go.
After waiting in all day from 8 to 8 pm for pickup just a complete no show. No text, no note, just didn't show up.
Lends itself to rhymes
Parcel2go = poor show!0 -
Thought I would give it a try even after reading the bad reviews on this company. I wish I had just used MyHermes with my direct account! Parcel still not delivered after 7 days, customer going mad, p2g said tried to deliver 3 days ago, customer says was in all day no card left so who to believe. I don't think I will use p2g again though, freebie or not, its not worth the hassle and customer may now claim a refund through Paypal if he does not receive the item. :mad:
Think before using this company there are better ones out there, go direct to them. Wouldn't recommend Royal Mail either they are useless as well. Took 18 days for an international letter to arrive signed for, told me it would be 3/5 days. Would have been quicker sending it normal airmail and cheaper! :mad: :mad:Makes the world go around eh...0 -
I posted a magazine using the Parcel2Go website (TrakPak was the courier) and it should have been £11.67. Minus the £10 voucher, it was a mere £1.67 - cheaper than it would have been to post it using Royal Mail to the UK!
There were quite a few labels (customs, "commercial invoice") to print out and stick to the envelope - it felt as if it was more set up for people sending out large commercial parcels than someone sending a small gift to a friend.
I dropped it off at a pick-up point (a petrol station) about half a mile from my home, which was nice and convenient.
I posted it on 22 January 2015 and it arrived in California on 6th February. The recipient said it "looks like the postman tried to read it as well!". So I guess my packaging of many feet of sturdy brown paper wrapping and a LOT of tape was apparently not up to the herculean task of protecting against the rigours of a 5,000 mile journey.
So, for the price, it was a bargain. If I'd paid the full £11.67 (to post a £4 magazine!!) I'd be very disappointed.0 -

I'm always dubious when someone joins the forum just to post a negative review of a company.
Thread should probably be locked to avoid competitors slating each other under a fake name.
Could be truthful review... "could"0
