    It was not £10 but UP TO £10 when I used this code. I have fed this back before but notice MSE still quoting it as £10 in this week's email.

    I think it's a glitch on their system, something to do with the VAT. I originally put the code in and it came up with a discount of £8.33, so cleared my cookies and did it again and it came up with the full £10.

    I've just had the same experience as Bandanaman above. I chose next day delivery by Yodel then waited in all day 7am to 7pm for pick-up. No pick-up, no message, no phone call, no text. At 7.30pm I got on a live chat with a Parcel2Go operative who could not explain why Yodel hadn't picked up and said all he could do is book another pick up for tomorrow (Friday) between 7am and 7pm, and delivery would now be Monday because of the weekend. Not good enough. Not impressed, especially as this was my first order and you'd think they'd now bend over backwards to make amends and give me a same day delivery. I've just emailed them on the dedicated MSE users address and await their reply tomorrow.

    I've used Parcel2Go loads of times with no problems. Even when one parcel was broken, they paid the compensations within a couple of days with no problem at all. However, the InPost service they offer is a different matter. It might be cheap but it's run by a team of total imbeciles. They "lost" 3 of my parcels. I told them they were sitting in the lockers that I could see from my window but it took them a fortnight before sending anyone out to check the lockers!
    There will always be:
    A “LIE” in BELIEVE, an “OVER” in LOVER, an “END” in FRIEND, an “US” in TRUST , and an “IF” in LIFE ;)

  • Just tried P2G for first time because of the offer and have been impressed so far ... except for
    * having to register after I'd pretty well worked through the order I wanted;
    * being asked during registration for various bits of info I'd entered during the order process;
    * not being able to go back to that order after registration completed;
    * not being able to find the final charge on the order confirmation page on site or in the email sent.
    I agree that the financial calculations appear complex and that the reason is doubtless to do with VAT.
    I ended up with myHermes, which I usually use, and shall now wait to see about delivery....
    Thanks, MSE and all contributors to this forum.
    Cheers - Eric
  • I used the OFFERFREE code last week to send a book, and the courier appeared on my doorstep on the correct day, and the parcel was delivered successfully via MyHermes.

    I hope more people have success with Parcel2Go. It's worth a punt with the free offer, even if you don't use them again (I'll probably just use the Post Office next time).
  • I used parcel2Go and the free 'first parcel free offer' a month or so back.

    Had no problems at all.

    recently received an email with a 10% off offer

    "Get 10% off your next parcel delivery when you come back to us "

    with having a parcel to send, I decide to use this offer code - which was accepted, but I noticed no change in the price !

    I decided to continue with the order - after which I contacted Live Chat - explain the problem.

    I was assured by the agent that "10% will be refunded - I assure you this order is fine"

    On my account - I notice the refund request - but when revisited today - I find that it has been rejected !!!!!

    This also happened to me, but I used Live Chat before placing the order, and they said the code was for door-to-door service, whereas I had picked Shop drop off.
  • I've used parcel2go on many occasions and had great service. Don't be put off by the negative responses.
