I would just say "take matters further", no need to mention legal advice or court action. I'd also put an actual date rather than 14 days from today so it sticks in his mind exactly when it needs to be done by. Maybe put something about being able to appreciate that a new baby can be challenging but that you believe you have been patient enough and feel that any further delay is un-acceptable.0

Have done the charges that you both suggested and my OH has gone to buy the stamp so I can get it in the post tonight....feel bad that it I am going to send it but hey!!

YES!!!! Just got home and the postman has been and he has sent me a cheque!!!! Going to nip to the bank in a minute to pay it in.....better go through!!
