that's bizarre , as I spoke to Virgin CS and they said they didn't offer roaming add-ons. Unless its to do with my specific contract SIM only . I checked twice, don't always believe overseas CS so I went through to UK CS


With so many tariffs out there sometimes I wonder if they know everything themselves

silly question time: once I've got my three SIM, do I put it in my phone when in the UK or once in France?

It's worth checking it in UK, but it doesn't make much sense to use it in UK as you pay for your Virgin allowances anyway.

BTW, is your phone unlocked?

yes it is unlocked


I bought a G300 nearly 2 years ago and followed MSEers advice on unlocking it then, hence not tied to Vodafone and went Virgin SIM only contract which suits me well for my day to day needs at home in the UK

I would definitely be putting the sim in while still in the UK, to make sure the sim is both working and the £15 add-on is correctly loaded and working.
