Well at least you've got the important things covered - now it's just the actual fitters work that is in question.
I dont understand why you have paid for 'extra' work when the project isn't finished/you've done the majority of it? What exactly has the fitter done? Just the plastering and tiling??
Page 14 in this clearly states how to overboard a wooden floor.

the guy has definitely had you over....how many quotes had you gotten in?
live and learn, hopefully the guy you get to make right the work is better, if so save his number for future....thankfully we always use the same ppl to do what we need so no what to expect from the work and quality....this guy straight up bent you over....0 -
