Don't mistakenly pick up and use a tube of deep heat instead of canestan cream!
 Don't arrange to go to the Isle of Man for a holiday and wonder why there are an awful lot of motorbikes on the ferry............the banner at the other end saying Douglas Welcomes the TT was a bit of a clue..........

:o I had heard of the TT Races, and that they were on the Isle of Man, just never connected the event with my stay there. With similar absentmindedness, I ended up in the middle of the World Triathletics Championship one time.

i lost my car once in a supermarket car park, I made the mistake of calling in at the car wash before going to do my shopping. did not recognize it!! sailed right past and did not realize until i got to the end of the car park - lesson learned - my car is always the dull dusty one not the shiny one.

Don't leave a plastic utensil near an open flame. Plastic and flames don't mix well. Who knew?:rotfl:

Melted plastic everywhere!! Could've been a lot worse:eek:
    NOT BUYING IT 2018!

Consumerism is.....buying things you don't need with money you don't have to impress people you don't know and probably wouldn't like even if you did know them.

:) Don't drive your car to town, something you seldom do, and then forget that you didn't walk down as normal, walk a mile home and have heart failure when coming around the corner towards the house and finding your car isn't outside............... it was several seconds of OMG before the penny dropped............:rotfl:

The car dealership moved to 10 mins walk away from my house, so i dropped my car off for MOT and service, walking home calling in at shops i would normally walk to (unless i was buying a big item or passing by on my way home in the car). as i walked round the corner i panicked as my car was not on the drive!! of course it was not on the drive - i had left it at the garage for MOT, it took a few mins for the penny to drop!!

:D I'm sooo glad it's not just me who forgets whether she had a car with her or not............I used to lose that bliddy Fiesta all over the place. It was an E reg and there were a lot of cars of a similar shape and colour (and not just Fiestas) around about 15 years ago when I owned it and I kept misplacing it in carparks.

I also owned a grey vehicle one time whose colour turned a muddy yellow under streetlights, causing me to misplace it from time to time.

I used to have that problem aswell! Ended up buying a canary yellow Fiat Panda and for a good many years it was the only the area. Then they became popular in that colour for some reason!

So I sold it in the end needed something bigger for the LO's.

Hadn't thought of the car again and lo and behold it turned up these years later in the estate over from us!!

  • On entering my driveway, I'm often "Oh, so and so is here," Occasionally I borrow Mums car, and on coming home I thought to myself "Oh, I'm here..." Oh duh.....

Also, although this was a long time ago when I was young and daft, do not go out wearing fishnet tights and mini skirt in hot sunny weather and lie around whilst getting burned. My legs were a very interesting pattern when I got home to change that day !!

:rotfl: I did exactly that when I was 17! I wore a pink mini kilt and black fishnet stockings, then went and sunbathed in the garden. :o
  • When I was younger we had basic UHT milk and orange juice. they came in the same packaging, many mornings I had orange cereal and milk in my glass (I'm not a big fan of milk on its own :rotfl:)

I used to work in central London and passed a Pret a Manger every morning.

Some days I walked in, grabbed a bottle of orange (coloured) juice, and, without checking the label, pay for it, walk out and start swigging as I'm walking briskly between the two bus stops.

I eventually acquired a taste for carrot juice.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...
