_little_sweetie wrote:Modesty has just pointed out that we've lost LC2 as well as sparky and neither have we heard from nu1isit? for months. It's quite sad to lose some of our oldest members. I do hope they are ok.....
Just to hopefully put folk in the picture with missing members: nu1isit? is hardly ever here as he cares for his dear Wife, sadly LC 2 (luckiecharlie) said at the end of last year that she's found a different way of saving though she'll still be popping on, and I'd hazard a guess that sparky is probably working overtime or nights. All will no doubt be along as and when they're ready, though I was surprised sparky didn't show up for his Birthday.I'll be having my cake back!
Not to worry, folks, we're all here and happy and that's all that counts, so keep filling them pots and seeing just how much you can manage to save this year!!!!Deleted_User wrote: »Feeling very frugal atm LOL.
EDIT: Sue, could you add me with a target of £175 please?
Don't worry about being frugal, theatregirl, there are a lot worse things to be calling yourself. BTW, your Target of £175 is now alongside your name, all the best in reaching it.
So you work in view of Buckingham Palace then, 32b3, you must see a lot of right royal comings and goings there, and by golly what a busy place. You should be hunting round there daily for roadkill!BTW, NO volunteering here to count your pottings...absolutely no way!
Mummy+2 wrote:Decided I'm not going to keep a running total, going to wait for the surprise at the end
A good idea, Mummy+2, it's a lovely surprise that way, so save hard and don't keep any figure in mind and you'll be so happy.Lynsey wrote:Sue, nice to hear you're on the mend and feeling better. Cream cakes, chocolate and ice cream will soon put back on the lost pounds.
Oh, I couldn't, Rosy, and Lynsey, though I'm feeling almost back to normal...I've just got no appetite yet, but at least I'm ok.
I didn't think I wanted to lose the weight, Ruth, but am getting to like the even slimmer me, so I may try to keep it that way.
Thanks a lot for the tip, Modesty, but I don't think I could ever eat BBQed chicken again, it's just never worth the risk, but I'm grateful to you.
Thanks, Helen, and well done with the savings.
Lucky you with the flowers, atolaas!!What did you do to deserve that? Nah...forget I asked as it might be a bit :kisses2:£3 potted today.
I'm up to £280 so may empty and buy my oil for the winter while it's cheap. Shall update my sig if I decide to do this x
Very MSE, Saver88!! No one could blame you for doing that, just be sure to pop it on your siggy, thanks a lot.lozzy81 wrote:De lurking....

You certainly haven't been on for a good while, lozzy, in fact we've had a change around since you were here last: I had to re-do the member list as so many were no longer here on MSE. Just in case you're not looking in I'll send you a PM to let you know and will add you to the list, just one thing to add...please could you change your No round for me? Thanks a lot.
I forgot my Total for last week, so this week it's a whopping £25 in the pot and 2p roadkill!!!! :jHave a lovely evening, folks, a good day tomorrow too - and KEEP right on saving!!!
