£5.14 to the pots just now.My gold coin tin is about 1/2 full, and contains notes, and my "others" tin has been full for awhile, and now all the coins go into a large plastic bag.Might get those coins counted up and take to the bank in exchange for gold coins so I can put them in my pot to take back to the bank again in about 6 weeks time :rotfl::rotfl:
Jakes mum I am not looking forward to the expense that is teenagers (with 4 children age 5 and 3/4 to12and 1/2,in about 7 years time I will have very nearly,almost,ever-so-close-to 4 teenagers :eek:).
But is it only me who thinks of nappies everytime I hear the brand Superdry??I wonder how the advertising executives thought that sounded cutting-edge and cool.

Ahh ty Lynne, think im going to give up selling on HUKD as their rules are just rediculous and it does seem to be one rule for the long termers and another for the newbies. They are certainly no where near as friendly as the MSE'rs, some of the responses on the deals threads are down right rude
there's alot of 'hmmpf, it was 10p cheaper 5 months ago, this isn't a 'good' deal in the slightest, cold from me!' never seen that on our grabbit board! ever!
And have to say, it niggles me that when we spot a deal posted on HUKD, we put in the OP a thankyou to the HUKD user who found it and a link to their post so that 'heat' can be given (dont really understand the heat thing, but assumed it was like our WOW button) but i've never seen a post on HUKD with a thanks to an MSE'r for a deal, and with the amount of users on both sites I just can't believe that not one single deal has been copied from the grabbit board
76p in the pot today, its getting mighty heavy, im now worried, not that I wont fill it by opening day, but that i'll fill it before then and have to have a very slightly filled pot :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Awwww, Jakes-mum, hope you find a bargain on eBay. I have bought my friend's son a few things in the superdry store on there and they have all been perfect and arrived quickly x. HDUK is indeed very strange. I have noticed how rude they are on there when there really is no need to be. It always amazes me that people feel free to have a go at people from behind a computer screen
11p potted today.

Am hoping so too 32b2, thoough am also off into cambridge to the Vans store tomorrow (did I mention DS has expensive taste :rotfl:) and [STRIKE]praying[/STRIKE] hoping they have some sort of sale rail
I was a bit cautious about the superdry ebay store, as it said alot of the tshirts were factory seconds, but you've put my mind at ease a bit about the quality so think i'll take the plunge and order one
DD was quite confused that his entire christmas list was for clothes . . 'but mum! wheres his TOYS!?!' :rotfl: bless her, i'll shall be sad when she's past the happiness of some cheap plastic tat
Our 'Kevin' is happy tonight though as his Gran gave him money to go to the fair with his mates tonightsure he'll be back to normal within 5 minutes of walking in the door
The whole rudeness thing confuses me too, what is wrong with saying 'thankyou op for the post, just to say if you happen to live in (random town) the (only local to us) shop has them at this cheaper price, but still an excellent find for those who don't live near (local) shop.'SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

We wait til lthe kids are in school so I don't have to share the counting with themI really really REALLY like counting money, DH is well versed in the fact he is NOT allowed to open any tins unless they need a tin opener and even then, he is only to upend onto floor and then step away from the money! He is then allowed to help make 'money piles' before removing himself from the money area while I happily sit and pile each denomination into £1, £5 or £10 increments :rotfl:
Am off out to [STRIKE]become bankrupt[/STRIKE] spend more money on christmas presents, I would be freaking out if it wasn't all freeWill see what I have to pot when I come back :T

Hello to all Sealed Potters and I hope today's a good, if wet, one for you all. It's lovely to see old faces re-appear as it gets closer to the 27th November, our count up day. Good to see you folks.
You carry on feeling positive, Helen, as it's doing you good.
You're welcome, getting-there-slowly, though you earned that star!lynnejk wrote:Just to say I was a late joiner last year and just carried on into this one so been here nearly a year - gosh how time flies he :rotfl:
I'm quite shocked at that, Lynne, it seems as though you've been with us for yonks! It's that family feeling, everyone becomes part of it so swiftly. :j
Oh, we are indeed really proud of ourselves, AlwaysHappy. Keep it up, the saving too!cattysmum wrote:Cant wait for the final count up. This is the first year I have done the sealed pot challenge and looking forward to reaping the rewards!!
....and so you will, cattysmum! You've so quickly adapted to an SPCers way of living and the rewards are FANTASTIC!!!!
Well done on the imutual clicking, Lynsey, it's paying marvellous dividends! Here's a gold star for helping others do the same. :staradmin
£63.55 is GREAT savingin a month, Ben, excellent work!!! :j

Ah, BUT, BUT, BUT, JAKES-MUM.........NO, YOU CAN'T!!!!!!!!!
Marvellous news that jakes-dad has lost sooooo much so soon!! Please congratulate him.
A lovely word of warning to all our new family members, Modesty!! SPC is sooooooo very addictive - give in to it folks!!!!
Well saved, newthrift, you're definitely a SPCer now!!!!! :j
You'll adore your little bundle when he's/she's born, Hicks, and as jakes-mum says, when they place that little treasure in your arms it's an undescribable feeling of sheer joy that nothing else can compare with! Get ready for loads of loving and please don't feel bad about your feelings of anticipation now.
Teenagers can be a nightmare at times, Saver-upper, but you'll still have fun times with them none the less. Kids are a joy whatever the age.
£3.42 in the pot, unbeknown to DH, bless him.
Ok folks, at last our dear sparky has e-mailed me! Sadly, his dear Wife has been having health problems and, all being well, he will be back sometime next year to join in the thread and enjoy the banter as......he's missed us all very much - us him too! I know all you SPCers wish his dear Wife the very best of health and a speedy recovery!!!!!!Have a lovely day, Potters, keep saving hard, and remember, there's little over......7 weeks to go!!
Sue x
