what to do?

i am going to germany in a month time. i was just wondering how everyone deal with cash abroad. everytime i go to france i normally take all cash and hide it in the caravan and take a daily allowance from the money. but this year i dont know what to do wheather,

a) to take all cash do what i normally do.

b) get a asda prepaid card (free ATM withdrawnals) and cash.
£60 cash and all the rest of the money on prepaid card.

    I use a Thomas Cook Euro Cash Passport, and get big chunks of cash out at a time.

    Depends on how much cash you are planning on spending? €200 or less and I'd probably take cash.
  • Use a Caxton card - linked to your bank account and you can just move the money across as and when you need it online - no transaction fees fot taking money out of the hole in the wall over there

    as is the... Thomson Travel Money card.... which is actually worse than the Thomas Cook card.
