Sky price increase - deal?

Hi
Weve been with Sky tv for many years now but in February this year we switched our landline phone and BroadBand to them so we paid for a 3 in 1 package deal. When we subscribed we were offered a deal for 12 months at a reduced rate before it increased to standard costs.
My question is am I protected by the new £1.50 price increase for the tv part at the moment until my contract is due for renewal next February or am I not entitled to challenge it?
I think I know the answer here but just checking as it does seem unfair especially when they try to justify the increase on better TV investment but I dont benefit from enjoying the shows their investing in. Or rather their investing but we are the ones continually coughing up their spending monies.
Sadly were not in a cable area so cant switch there. Sooner or later though I feel I might ditch Sky TV anyway as the repeats are becoming as bad as terrestrial TV which was tge reason I subscribed to Sky in the first place many years ago to avoid this monotonous hum drum viewing.
Thanks.
