What is "Free sim-only"? Is it really some free contract with free allowance(s)?0

Yes last year T-Mobile had a glitch on there website and a lot of people took out the SIM Only £8 - 12M contract for Free because T-Mobile honoured it
I get 250 minutes, 500 texts, 500 MB Data, Plus 08 numbers all free for a year
Not bovvered about the 22p just wondered if it was a price rise because i have not gone over my allowance since i have had the deal
i still have about 3-4mths left before it goes back to the original price.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
I have just had my bill for 23p. Previous months I have been paying 1p. Think it was only the first 2 months which I actually got free. I just use the sim in my spare phone and hardly ever use it and at no time have made any chargeable call or text.0

It's the usual price increase, based on the £8 with no adjustment for the credit. Texts were sent out about two months ago telling contractees of the price increase.
I will actually end up with a small profit despite the increase, because of something I did in the early months - so although annoying I'll still end up paying nothing and have a really useful bundle which includes all 08 numbers.0 -
I've been paying 23p for a few months now following their general price rise on all contracts.
Like others, I got a message advising users of this rise but it is still a bargain, especially as I have to make calls on 0870 + 0845 etc quite often. This saves me waiting until 7pm to use my landline for free calls.
I would have thought you would have paid your bill by direct debit in which case they would just take the money out of your bank account0 -

Yeah i do pay by DD but this is the first time i have had the 22p been lucky i suppose never paid anything up till now
At least i know what its for didn't want to ring just to be told what you guys have said plus normally a long wait to talk to someone
Don't use the Sim a lot and the main reason i got it was for the 08 numbers being free because my doctors was 0844 number but now changed back to a normal number. LOLNobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0
