I've also wondered this! It's like they're C & P'ing straight from the "Self Promoting on MSE Comps Handbook for Beginners". Written by A. Beginner. :):)

I wonder why people ask the same questions over and over.

It's already been answering a million times - do a search, you're bound to find at least ONE!

I also wonder why people feel the need to inform a forum of strangers that they are giving up on comping. Jeez, so what?
    Thanks to all posters :A

So true! I wonder how I'm not doollally with all the banging of my head against a brick wall when I see the same question posted AGAIN!

On a lighthearted note - has anyone ever won a Dave Lackie Twitter competition? I must have retweeted a zillion of his musings on the various wonders of bits of make up or perfume that I can't afford and frankly I'm bored of it now! :)
I was thinking this the other day. Isn't the Dave Lackie competitions a world wide competition? I'm determined to win some perfume so I can give it to the wife for Christmas :D

Why do some people get downbeat because they've not won anything yet? Especially new members who have just started comping. Sorry but the "I never win anything it's not fair" comments are starting to dare I say irritate now.
Yes I understand you've not one anything yet the vast majority of members have days/weeks/months like this. Don't expect to come on here enter an ITV comp and suddenly win £25K at the first go, it's not going to happen.

What do they want us to do because they've not won? All boycott a competition that a member wants to win? "Right members Member OohIhopeIwinAprize want's to win the 50" 3D TV so can we all not enter this competition so they win it ok"

Is it worldwide? I don't know - I don't even know really why I bother with the vast majority of Twitter comps except they're quick and easy!

I got the impression it was worldwide. I am sure I've seen winners listed from different countries
