Problems with Vodafone
We are having real problems with Vodafone. Husband "lost" is iPhone, immediately notified Vodafone who instead of barring outgoing calls blocked the phone completely, rendering it impossible to locate, we had a rough idea of where it was and hubby was going to use his hands free kit to narrow down the search, well, vodafones actions rendered the phone completely useless and put the mockers on any attempt to find it.
Since that time, 17th June, we have had numerous phone calls and web chats to Vodafone (taking screen shots of their promises)and hubby is not getting the recompense he wants despite being honest to them from the start with what he expects and has been told that he's not to worry they will sort him out !!
Anyway, we have been promised call backs by managers within 24 -48 hours..never received them, transpires that they were trying to call back using the lost phone !!
Their customer service is shocking ! We are now waiting for them to listen to the phone calks and get back to us again... Wonder what telephone number they will use this time !!
I can see us lodging a complaint with the ombudsman at this rate

For what? Protecting your interests?
If you called them to say your phone was lost, what did you expect them to do? Let some thief run up a tab on your account? The time to use Find My Phone is before you report it to the network, because this is the nuclear option - and assuming you set a pin code on the handset your data is safe even if you don't get it back.0 -
what do you feel the ombudsman will say? the network have barred the sim as lostDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
