Hi,
My contract is due for renewal with TalkTalk and I was just wondering whether anyone has had recent success in the last few days with regards to negotiating a better deal on their current contract.
I'm currently on the old Essentials package but I know that I don't want the added TV package.
Thanks.

Not in the last few days, but I suggest you call their Loyalty team, and at the very least ask to be switched to Simply Broadband, with a Calls package to suit you. Simply Broadband is £3.50 pm, and Anytime UK Calls is £5 pm. If you say you're thinking of leaving they may give you a few months half price line rental or something, but whatever you do you'll need to agree at least 12 months contract.0

hi o_c99
jbuchanangb is correct and if you join the TalkTalk Community we can request a callback for you from a loyalty agent who will be able to discuss with you the most recent discount and promotions that you may be eligible for.
Cheers

When you renew on line does it give you the option to change your package or do you have to contact them direct?0

HI Gary,
You can conduct an up-sell renewal online if you are interested in one of our newer packages.
The Online and Telephone renewal may have different offers so sometimes its worth checking both, you can see what offers are available online before you commit to the new contract term
