I've posted this before but we only buy at the weekend. A 75 point drop per week for us.0

Does anyone have a spare code today pleae.
Thank you.“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

So the Mail Rewards scheme was shut down for the best part of a fortnight - for what?
In that time a reader who takes the paper 7 days a week, (Daily mail and Mail On Sunday), prior to the site closedown could earn 300 points per week. Over the closure 350 points were lost.
Now they have reopened it they have increased the points Monday to Friday to 20 from 10, decreased the points on Saturday to 75 from 100 and decreased the points on Sunday from 150 to 100.
So overall an decrease of 25 points over the week. BUT in their benevolence they offering a bonus of 50 points if you take the paper every day, (which I do anyway).
So in total, an increase of 25 points.
Personally I just save these points to get a £25 voucher for Tesco or the like which requires 9500 points, (which in itself has increased from what it started out as).
I have worked it out that taking into account the 300 point deficit, (they have given us 50 points), due to website closure, the 25 points per week will make it up in 12 weeks, which is about the time it would have taken if they had left well alone.
I don't understand why they had to mess with things. If they wanted to give us an extra 25 points a week it probably could have been done without closing down the site.
By the way, I had to dig through the FAQs to find out about the new daily entitlement, because they didn't seem to think it was that important to openly announce it.0 -
I only found out when I typed in today's code.
Has the number of points for a Tesco £25 voucher increased ? I too, usually save for that reward, but can't remember what the previous number was, though I notice that the 2000 points for £5 vouchers remains the same .0 -

On 23 September 2012, I exchanged 6800 points earned for a Tesco £25 voucher.
Ever since then you have had to save 9500 points for the same thing. This represents nearly a 40% rise in the cost of a £25 voucher. This is not to mention how many newspapers you would have had to buy in that period it would have taken to save those points which is approximately 9 weeks!
I have complained vehemently about this but got nowhere and very few people seemed bothered about it.
Are others missing what I can see?0 -

How did you get the numbers if they weren't producing them before this morning's paper (11/10/14)?
Is this some sort of glitch that they have missed?0 -
I've just received my email and only thanks to posts above, noticed the free 50 points. (Not really as we have lost points while they were not printed).
I can't see any reference to free 50 points every day; just the one off as in the post by quoia.
Me too!
I think the person who posted (primrosevilla) got it wrong!0 -
Copies of the Daily Mail in Scotland have the numbers printed since Monday 6 October and the points value has been 50 for each day.0

Once again
They claim it is an upgrade
And then they reduce the value of points !!!!
Mon to Fri - Increased from 10 to 20 Mail Points per day
Saturday - Reduced from 100 to 75 Mail Points per day
Sunday - Reduced from 150 to 100 Mail Points per day
Bonus - 50 Mail Points for 5 out 7 Unique Numbers per week (Sat to Fri)
Might be my maths but I made it more if you get the bonus. 325 v 300?0 -
I got a 50pt bonus when I logged into the new website.0
