Try again and offer the same amount. This is a game remember, you may win, you may not.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

Problem is I can 'afford' to pay them too much so they are quite happy with the monthly payments, they will even quite happily reduce monthly payments, cca requests sent off as advised so may strengthen my hand0

Moorgate were not interested in my 50% offer without full I and E form. They don't seem as desperate for cash as some.
If they don't produce on the CCAs, pre 2007, I would stop paying to force the issue.
Tricky on the later ones, but see what comes of the CCA requests.:beer:0 -
I've offered moorgate around 25% no mention of an ie form yet, really doubt they will accept but the will receive the CCA request around the the same time as the written offer0

Having been extensively through the national debtline website I could quite legitimately reduce my monthly payments as there are quite a few things I havent actually budgeted for as I was really trying to pay off the debt as quickly as possibly, however given the responses to my initial settlement offer I am seriously considering reducing this. However it then means the debts will take longer to pay off, really in a dilemma as I would just love rid of them. been offered 5000 with the potentital of maybe up to 9000 if i can get them to agree, total debts around 170000 -

As long as you are not being charged any interest, reduce the payments, providing documentary evidence as required.
This will help your F&F case, probably.:beer:0 -
Thanks, Ill see how the CCA requests go and then take it from there0

interestingly, the first one to reply was the post 2007 one and they may not be able to get the CCA and have placed the account on hold0

Moorgate, just reply to the f&f offer just saying no, no counter offer or nothing0

Must be flush at the minute...:beer:0
