Thanks the Slithy Tove. I will do just that. The man from UKCPS was Stephen Hall who cam from Leeds, where UKCPS is situated. The car park was Centertainment near Sheffield. The case was heard in chambers at Sheffield County Court on 3rd July. I don't have the case number and I think I have just realised why Mr Hall sent me the cheque for the expenses rather than waiting for the Court to get in touch with me.
I will contact them as soon as possible, so that I can pass all information on to anyone interested.

Yay! Stephen Hall must have been spitting feathers when he lost then had to pay your expenses! It would be great if we could have the claim number (no need for a surname), we can call you 'Mr or Ms X' when referring to your case in other defences for other victims we help. The claim number would be needed though if we are to use yours as an example, especially as UKPCS are always issuing PCNs at Centertainment.

Good to hear the Judge didn't just find the signs couldn't be read in the dark, he also said the info was far too wordy. :)

Just like those PE signs which have several lines of T&C's in very tiny print stuck ten feet up a lamp-post.

The case number was A3QZ1305. It was heard by district Judge Birkby on July 2nd. It was in Sheffield County Court, but I think it might have been Small Claims.

Thanks, it would have been small claims, yes. Very well done again!

Just realised that Judge Birkby at Sheffield is known to us as a 'friend of consumers v PPCs' already!

Somebody on PPP has just posted this UKCPS sign. Lots of information, but I reckon there are at least two questionable statements on there:-

That sign exhibits one of UKCPS' standard hilarious c0ck-ups.

Parking Prankster has now blogged about this case:-

It's interesting to see the comment about the Vine V London Borough of Waltham Forest case. UKCPS are not the only PPCs to quote this case, completely misinterpreting the actual outcome and missing the fact that the motorist won.
