I have just hung up from a 76 min call to Talktalk mobile renew my mobile SIM only contract. I have gone through securtiy and repeated department to try and renew a cheap SIM only contract. It is my 5th phonecall in the last couple of weeks and they have all been at least 30 mins long. You are supposted to be able to renew online but it didn't let me. I spoke to someone 2 weeks ago and they told me I was too early to renew but was told this morning that he should have renewed. The offers have now changed and I thought I had agreed the renewal and then I was put back to the queue and had to start over again. You need to go security for every person that they pass you on to, each more clueless that the last. I am so angry to be treated like this. I have gone through the same information repeatedly only to be put on hold and have to go through the same information again. The last person I spoke to offered to phone me back once I had calmed down. Although angry I have not been rude. He constantly interupted me when I was talking and then left long silences.

Is there a Talk Talk Rep on line as I am so angry and have yet to speak to anyone who is even pleasant.

The problem you have may be related to the "porting" problems talktalk mobile are currently experiencing! A lot of their staff are likely to be dealing with the large influx of customers who have taken up their lucrative mobile offers only to find that if they want to keep their old number the system can't cope.........its like going back to the days when they first offered "free" broadband........they can't cope with the sudden increase in volume!

If you are thinking of taking out a TT mobile contract and want to keep your existing phone number check out their customer forums before committing!

    Hi TheBlade,

You can process your Number Port Online using My Account, you select the date to transfer the number and this is processed automatically
