I have a problem getting a cheep deal on my buildings and contents insurance. In 2001 my neighbour had underpinning work done, a builder had damaged the concrete raft that the house sits on.
My quote are being doubled, on quote went from £196 to £375.
The underwriters are penalising me and it's not my house that had underpinning work done.
is this normal.

How do you know your quote doubled?
Your neighbour's house repairs should be irrelevant unless your house also suffered damage.0 -
