Hi,needing a bit of help here please.i was cleaning out a cupboard not used too much when I came across 3 of the massive bags of oats. date is for this month.......................what do I do with them. I don't mind baking with them,we don't like flapjacks too much,i was thinking a cookie recipe? but will need more inspiration than that.also if I mix with breadcrumbs I could coat chicken etc, so I can make it and freeze bags , what else ???? help me out here please.....and thank youxxx

Oatmeal & raisin (or choc chip) cookies! Make them big so they're chewy in the middle!

I wouldn't worry about using them quickly, they're not suddenly going to turn into green slime.
If you have baths, put a cup of oats in an old sock tied up or in a muslin and hold under the hot tap for a lovely moisturising bath0 -

These are the best things I have ever made from oats! The recipe was found by Chalky on the OS Knit Your Square thread, after she had tried the originals in a branch of Ikea: http://www.cocooks.com/2013/02/swedish-oat-cookies-like-those-from-ikea/ They are very very moreish!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Mix them with flavoured yoghurt and leave overnight for a yummy pudding.
You can also make magic pancakes with them

These are especially yummy when made with a lemon yoghurt0
