Free Sim card, any use??
Hi, - the only reason I've had a mobile phone was so my Dads carers could reach me in an emergency. I have very limited reason to make mobile calls (personally I still think the brain-frying issues haven't had time to work out yet) or make any texts, so I'm not mobile phone savvy, and I stick to a pay-as-you-go rather than pay service charges for something I don't use. So I'm going to ask what are probably a couple of silly questions to regular mobile phone users.
I got one of those free sim cards earlier in the year that said "register by 30th April to take advantage of these offers"
Of course, I didn't. So now I have a SIM still attached to the promo material it came in.
1.What advantage would there be for me to register and use this SIM?
Is it worth selling (the number isn't anything special)?
2.I'm guessing that free texts only mean UK to UK texts. Am I wrong?
Thanks for your help

Give it to a charity shop, if the number isn't special then you will get next to nothing for it if you try to sell it.
Free texts are to UK mobiles
Depending on your current call charges the free sim may be cheaper to run0
