Don't be fooled, they communicate well enough it's just that neither understand the law and nor do they wish to because the sad truth of the matter is their aims are clearly the same, MONEY.Well done iseeincode, did you just get a standard "on this occasion we have decided to withdraw the claim" response or did the Uni give reasons? Nice touch HO87 with intention to call a witness, wish I'd seen their faces, oh to be a fly on the wall!0

Teaching can't be up to much at Staffs Uni. Both are law graduates from it.

I know, and I have pointed out how foolish it would be to have to be taught the law properly, in public, by Judges in the event DE continue to pursue cases in court. However, there seems little or no willingness to learn and the Uni is content to repeat, 'we are assured by DE that the scheme is legal' etc. as justification for doing nothing about it.0

Glad to see you still keeping an eye on these other cases, fedupwithitall. DE need kicking out from the Uni, sooner rather than later. The damage to staff and student relations is surely likely to be massive. Even those victims who paid up if they didn't realise that these firms are not any 'authority', might wake up and smell the coffee as more publicity arises next year with the Beavis case and Michael Green helping people to hopefully reclaim from PPCs or landowners.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hi all,
I am writing to the forum on behalf of my brother who has received a LBC from Gladstones Solicitors on behalf of DE Ltd due to parking on Staffs Uni without a permit on 4 occaisions.
We are in the process of writing a defence and wondered if anyone on here could help as the outcome of your case seems promising.
Basically the facts of the case are that my brother has parked without a permit on 4 occaisions; however on each of these times he has had a disabled badge displayed in his car. Furthermore, on one occaision one of the parking attendants actually cancelled a ticket after checking his disabled badge to make sure it was him! Also, my brother has applied for a permit but not been issued with one so there was no way for him to get around this problem.
Any help would be great thank you! We have until 22nd April to reply to this email so any thoughts would be much appreciated!0 -

Hijacking threads is happening a lot lately. Is this button invisible for most newbies?
