Is there some on-line utility that I can use to obtain the BT cabinet number that my home phone line is connected through ?

OK That works
Can you please confirm whether - if Openreach are going to the bother of relocating (and replacing) a cabinet - there is any other reason than a fibre upgrade ?
(Bear in mind that every other cabinet in the area has been upgraded in the last 18 months - leaving about 50 houses stuck in the 20th century !!)
I am assuming that we will soon be connected !!0 -

All done on a cabinet by cabinet basis- locally not seen a standard cabinet re-located - but have seen Fiber cabinet on opposite side of the road instead of close by on same side of road.0 -

It does look as if we are getting fibre - although BT deny this! !
( it is a fibre cabinet)
The contractors dug up the pavement then walked away over a week ago - I am hoping that they will return in the near future to finish the job ?0 -

It's possibly one of the BDUK funded cabinets. They generally won't show up on the BT checker until they are live.0 -
Our fibre cabinet was installed and powered months ago -even seen them pulling cables to the new cab.-but absolutely no sign of fibre availability yet.0
