Log onto your router?

I want to add some kind of security been reading a lot about it and apparently WPA security is the one to go for. I have a wireless zyxel router.

hmm.... it's just that I don't know what my router page is? I cannot find the manual... any ideas?

Go into your start menu, click on run. Type cmd, press OK, you should have your command prompt up. Type in there ipconfig, press enter then look for the default gateway. It'll probably start with 192.168 - type that address into your address bar and you should be able to access your router.

When I try admin or 123456 it for a second shows a longer hide password but doesn't log in

Have you tried "password"? If it is one you set yourself and can't remember you're going to have to reset to factory default and then find the default password to use.

ah new password it was already in there ignore that, but await new questions!

it's usually admin or password, but if you tell me the router model I can probably find it (I keep a big list because I do tech support and occasionally get customers with some router I've never heard of that they can't get into! )
