All I want is closure from the whole business new or old, simple as that, cab advised me to raise a grievance as I keep being ignored ! Phone and letter,I just wanted to know if and now this company has been taken over can I still do this ?

In that case this should be very simple. Write to the new company saying you understand your employment was transferred to them from (name of your old employer). Due to long term sickness you wish to resign. You ask that they forward to you payment due to you for outstanding holidays. Should this not be received within 28 days you will issue legal proceedings.

I did write to them month and half ago now,but didn't know the next stage,I know I will loose out in my contractual notice, which is what the old company was very reluctant to pay out,

To resign, or something vague and non committal? Do the above - be to the point and tell them what you will do if they do not respond.

Did you tell them what you want?

Well all I wanted was some information, but couldn't even be issued that,so I want going to be rude and start asking for money owed, but I do know from the last employer they had a letter stating this that and the other, me nothing, hence why I keep thinking I've been brushed under the carpet.

You need to learn to be assertive, your writing style is so wishy washy it is no wonder they ignore you. Write a letter as I explained above - be firm and clear as to what you are saying, and what you will do if they do not pay you the monies owed.

Tom I don't write them my life story or cry in there door step,if that what 'wishy washy' means,it all about me the idiot slogging my guts for over ten years,oh they liked that, but when you have a bad spell ie the sickness they don't want to know,I've always kept them in the loop but they wasn't bothered by that, how long would it if taken them to send me a prefabricated letter why everyone else had,I have to find out second hand news.

Makes me even more sick how they operate,

No, wishy washy means you don't say what you want, you don't get to the point. You need to get past what they did or did not do with other people, they are not you.

My advice stands - be assertive and clear in what you want. Then if they do not respond you have the option to issue legal proceedings to claim your outstanding holiday pay etc.

Sorry, but it appears that even you do not know what you actually want from them. Makes it difficult to resolve anything. Work out what you believe you are owed and ask for it.

The only money I would be owed is holiday accured from this year and a weeks notice,
    Or
Originally what was going to happen the company was going to dismiss me in health, then I would have got, which was I my contract week for ever year up to twelve, which now is going to be out of the question and would have came in very handy.
