Interesting question, you maybe able to for discrimination reasons but realistically I doubt you'd get anywhere with it.

Though, from your thread on the redundancy board, if you know where to send this grievance can they not point you in the direction of where to go for information?

So is it ok for a employer to treat people like rubbish ? Am I not entitled to at least holiday and my notice ? The staff from the previous employer got a brief letter stating changes, why it's been sold etc,me nothing ? Regardless me being on long term sick surely I could of been told ?
So no to putting out a grievance then ?
What further stuff can I do if I'm being ignored by both parties,

What will it gain you? A sorry at best which really is futile. As said before, concentrate on your current employer.

Not "OK", but also pretty often not illegal.

Well, it's quite sunny, you could go and sit in the park, and read a book.

You were going to go to CAB - have you done this?

It is not fair that the employer is ignoring you, but perhaps they are not sure what you are actually asking? Are you planning to go back to work at any time in the future?

On the information given it appears your employment was transferred to the new business.
