With regards to my original point I asked a question and was satisfied with the answer. My issue with my credit card was a seperate issue that I thought I would mention.
I guess you missed the part about my father being ill with cancer in the time between. Sorry if it upsets you but I'm afraid that one's parent is extremely ill and given the news that they were, all thoughts of PPI and SARs go out the window.
In addition, I had been told a number of times that things would happen and they didn't. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but the other day was the final straw.
