Satellite dish feeds

Anyone here who is a Satellite dish installer or anyone who knows about dishes and feeds.
Ive got a 3m dish with a motor on it. Now I'm thinking of changing my single LNB to a double LNB have one going through the motor to my Dreambox DM800HD and the other feed bypassing the motor to another Dreambox which will be programmed to one dish.
I understand the other box would stop working if I move the dish away from 28.2e but would I be able to do do that or would I have to put both feeds through the motor?

I have a fixed 13/19.2º LNB on my 1 metre dish but, as I picture what you are saying, I'd say no because, the motor is moving the whole dish and so both LNBs would move too - so there's no possibility of one remaining aligned on a single satellite position.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

You would have no problem installing a multi-output lnb other than the "no satellite signal" message on the second box for 28 E channels when the dish is aligned elsewhere and the second receiver will not control the dish. You could also scan in channels on it on other satellites when the dish is aligned on them but again obviously when the dish is aligned elsewhere these will give "no signal" message.0
